Why charities should go consulting

orange balloon above grey balloons

Charities had a strategy and a plan but Covid changed the landscape. The old ways of supporting service users, recruiting volunteers and raising funds have been upended.

Your help is needed more than ever, and it’s the expertise of your teams on the ground that holds the key to extending reach and impact.

If you’ve previously holed yourself up with the trustees to figure out new strategies or contingencies, you’re not leveraging the full strength of your charity’s experience.

One thing

Involve your team in delivery planning from day one. Select a respected representative sample of people from across your charity. Summarise where you are now. Help visualise what’s possible and plausible. Design and implement delivery. Your collaborators will buy into their plan and bring the energy to make it happen.
